Adrienne Vallejo Foster is a candidate for the Kansas 3rd Congressional District. Her grandparents immigrated legally in the 1900’s while working for the railroad. The youngest of 12 children, Adrienne grew up in Wyandotte County. She is the first in her family to attend and graduate from college. Adrienne is the only candidate expected to present a challenge to the incumbent in the majority Democratic Wyandotte County.
Adrienne has been a small business owner with diverse professional experience including legal, financial, insurance and medical. Her first entry into the public arena was co-chairing a successful effort to save the Shawnee Indian Mission. This led to her serving as a council member and eventually Mayor of Roeland Park. Adrienne was then appointed as Executive Director of the Kansas Hispanic & Latino American Affairs Commission, in the Office of the Governor. In her most recent position, Adrienne was appointed as Advocate for Region 7 in the Office of Advocacy for the U.S. Small Business Administration. In this role, she worked to forward President Trump’s pro-business agenda.
Adrienne is perceived as the no-nonsense, most conservative candidate with a strong work- ethic. People respond to her authenticity and get excited about her candidacy. The last to file, Adrienne has pushed hard to raise cash. It is noteworthy that, unlike the other candidates, 70% of her donors are Kansans. Adrienne is married to husband of 25 years, Stephen Foster, and is the mother to five boys. She is a pro-life Catholic and NRA member. Her a campaign is focusing on family, faith and freedom.
